Vacanze
in Toscana is a cultural project created to satisfy
the needs and tastes of the foreign tourist.
Hello! Language Center
offers you a vacation where art and your contact with the
most interesting socio-cultural characteristics of Tuscany
are the priorities. With Vacanze in Toscana you can relax
in a challenging and stimulating environment.
You can choose to stay in:
- Green farms surrounded by the green and relaxing Tuscan
countryside,
- Antique villas with fascinating stories told through their
frescoes
- Hotels or pensions in the heart of Pisa
- A room with an Italian family eager to introduce you to
the Italian lifestyle.
We will meet you at the
airport or train station to take you to the chosen accommodation.
If instead you would rather do it on your own, you will receive
directions on how to reach your accommodation or the school.
The first day of your course, you will be given the program
prepared for you and any further information you might need.
In case you require it we can
help you rent a car, scooter or bike to move around
and enjoy the various sites and landscapes.
The program includes an
Italian language course, but you can choose to attend also
one of our more specialized courses (Italian cuisine, Italian
cinema, art history) or any of the many activities we organize
for you (dinners, aperitifs, bike rides, etc).
In Tuscany, a region rich in history
and traditions, you can enjoy the village festivals
that will occur during the period of your stay in Italy, such
as local "sagre", displaying and selling our most
genuine and typical food products, antiques exhibitions, or
local crafts fairs, imbued with Tuscan cultural past and artistic
creativity.
Moreover, on our most industrious
farms, you can be shown how our local bread, cheese and salami
are made. You can also visit the most antique wineries
and oil mills. But don't forget that Cascina is the town of
furniture. Here handicraft combines with the new demands of
the market, as you can see visiting the furniture fair.
Furthermore, our local manufacturing
tradition boasts the leather tanning industry in the Arno
valley. So you can visit some of the most important footwear
factories in the area, where handicraft and enterprise merge
to give life to luxury footwear.
